The HOT theme of the week has some potential, but my photo shows I only got a small way to my goal. The chosen “hot” photo is of some water dropping into and sizzling on a pan. This was well into several experiments with pans, temperature, water squirts and more. I think a few more hours of these attempts might have led to a cool result. Maybe some day. And the additional unrecognizable “hot” is is a close up of some hot salsa verde.

This one comes courtesy of Eileen’s many buckets which adorn our yard, and a few surprises thrown in for those paying close attention.

I struggled to get a “dancing” photo, until Emily and her friends came to my rescue.

And while my TOTW project is only photos, this week’s theme seemed to demand animation. So there.

Six weeks since I last posted a Theme of the Week picture?!?! Sheesh, I’m going to have to blitz through a few.

We were travelling during the “insect” week, so I thought the most appropriate insect photo would be of one that hit the car. So the one I submitted is the first one – a lovely windshield streak that used to be an insect. And then there are two more that didn’t make the cut.
